Plater wins Joey Dunlop trophey after eventfull final race

Honda rider Steve Plater came from fifthteen points behind to win the Joey Dunlop trophey by ten points a head of Ian Hutchinson.

John McGuinness was running well untill he retired on Lap four after setting two lap records.

Ian Hutchinson and Guy Martin then looked favourites to battle for the trophey, however Martin's chain came off and Hutchinson crashed out.

Steve Plater won the senior race, 19.54 seconds a head of Manx man "Connor Cummins".

2009 Sidecar [B] TT Results :

The second race of the Sidecars was cancled after Nick Crowe and Mark Cox crashed. The two riders were then sent to hospital. Dave Molyneux and Daniel Sayle were leading the race but were forced to give up a chance of a fifthteenth TT win after the crash.
